8-bit crEEps are a psych-wave quartet in a polygamist marriage with new-wave synths, fuzzed-out guitars and driving beats. The band has been experimenting with these sonic elements and conceptual storytelling since 2016.
Dimly lit Chicago arcades of the late 80's & early 90's left strange impressions on young minds. This is where you'll find those impressions. Inspired by a lone, nameless figure. Their dilated pupils were equal parts apathy and anxiety. Desperately foraging in the pocket of a jean jacket for one last quarter, the square-wave soundtrack was a worm in their brain.
We would ask that you attribute any defective material to the stresses of nepotism, capitalism and cognitive dissonance. This music scene is giving us the creeps, so take our advice, pull down your pants and slide on the ice.
